Jack J. Giordano is a retired law enforcement officer, professional firearms trainer, and noted expert in the shooting range industry.
During his tenure with the Port Authority Police of New York and New Jersey, Mr. Giordano's assignments included Emergency Services,
Special Weapons Team, Special Weapons Maintenance Officer, and Explosive Device Detection Team.
Mr. Giordano also spent 14 years
as an adjunct Firearms Instructor/Range Safety Officer/Police Armorer in the Port Authority Police Academy Firearms Training Unit.
A Certified Firearms Instructor since 1978, Mr. Giordano is also a Certified Chief Range Safety Officer Trainer, NRA Senior Training
Counselor, EPA Certified Lead Inspector/Lead Risk Assessor and Certified Occupational Hearing Conservation Specialist. He has
served as Eastern Region Supervisor of the National Rifle Associations Range Technical Team and lectured at NRA National Range Development
and Operations Conferences throughout the nation from 1999 to 2012.
From 2001 to 2003 Mr. Giordano served as Director and Principal
Firearms Instructor of the Eastern Firearms Academy in Hillsborough, New Jersey. During that time, he and his staff of five firearms
instructors were directly involved in planning, developing, and conducting basic and advanced civilian, law enforcement and security
officer firearms training programs.
Mr. Giordano is currently employed by Kramer One, Inc. a respected architecture and planning
firm specializing in providing top quality professional services for shooting ranges. These services include full service architecture,
land planning, site evaluation, safety and health evaluation, ventilation evaluation, range equipment evaluation and regulatory compliance
assistance. Kramer One, Inc. has provided expert testimony with regard to shooting range design, safety, and operations.
The firm has provided professional services for local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as civilian shooting range
facilities in twenty-seven states.
